Kilkenny Tourist Train

A 30 minute tour through the medieval streets of Kilkenny ,giving a facinating insight into the city’s colourful history.

Heritage Park Wexford (1 hr away) is a 35 acre site of Irish heritage throughout the ages, with 16 faithful reconstruct-ions in a natural setting. You can go on guided tours or walk around at your own pace (audio tour available). To take full advantage of this park you should allow a minimum of 2 hours. Restaurant and shop are part of the facilities.

Graignamanagh Hike & Bike

Explore the Barrow river towpath from our base in Graiguenamanagh and discover a real adventure for the whole family. The towpath is a flat grass track following the river as it meanders south towards the sea. Safe and traffic free bike trail allows you to pedal at a relaxed pace and experience peace and freedom. keep your eyes peeled for some of the fabulous wildlife in this area.

Trail/Cycle Kilkenny

For all 11 routes, including Castlemorris & Jenkinstown, Visit www.trailkilkenny.ie. These include walks along the Nore (city & county), woodlands, hills with a variety of gradients and of 1 to 5 hours in duration. Something to suit all.

Nore Valley Park Bennettsbridge (25 mins) things to do include viewing, feeding & holding some animals, crazy golf, indoor wooden maze, pedal go karts, straw bounce, small playground, sandpit, trailer rides, picnic area & pool table. Small shop & seating area for refreshments.
