The South East of Ireland is  a patchwork of rolling hills, woodlands and farmlands with picturesque rural hamlets nestling in river valleys and its craggy coastline is adorned with a necklace of quaint fishing villages and coastal resorts. Each one has its own character  and a story to tell so take some time and explore them at your own pace.

It is probably fair to say that no one comes to Ireland for the climate. Given its unpredictable nature, it is worthwhile having a “Plan B” to fall back on. Fortunately, there are plenty of things to do under cover should the weather become too inclement. It’s easy to keep the kids entertained whilst keeping your feet dry.
